Sorta like the Assassin's Creed series: I couldn't play those games with a keyboard and mouse. I did a lot of re-key binding to make the keyboard more comfortable, but it seems like this game was designed with a controller in mind.

I'm wondering if I should download the Demo again and try using a controller instead of keyboard and mouse. Honestly, an anime styled Skyrim-like jRPG with this level of character creation and customization would make me very happy. I can obviously go to the store page and see what it's like, but often I feel like Steam game descriptions are lacking. Monster Hunter WorldMaybe.? I know nothing about Monster Hunter. This game looks like a regular jRPG with just options to customize the characters themselves. I meant being able to make your own character with the same level of character customization. Tokyo Xanadu eX+I think I might have mistitled my title. And I've seen screenshots of other games which make me want to stay away. Sword Art Online - Lost Song Heard poor things about this franchise. I'm lucky to have Code Vein, but I understand your pain all too well. Hope you find what you're looking for, be it in this thread or somewhere else. I'm not familiar at all with DBZ, but I think you can create your own character in this too.Īltho yeh, the last two franchises I mentioned are only fighting games. There's at least one Naruto game with character customization too but I can't remember nor find the title again, my bad. The Attack on Titans games have that system implemented as well. The Sword Art Online games seem to have a pretty good character customization from what I've seen. Now my next suggestions are kinda blind, cause I've only had a quick look at these games yet never actually played them, so I have no idea how good they are but. It's a shame you didn't enjoy your time with this game but as I said, that's understandable. I personally love Code Vein from the bottom of my heart (even tho I get my butt kicked sometime), but I can totally understand the difficulty can be a downer for some people.
